What is AIM Counter?

AIM Counter is a simple hit tracker for your AIM Profile. You place a counter on your profile which shows how many people have viewed your profile. Note that counter doesn't acutally tell you who viewed your profile (TrackMyProfile.com, the main site, does that), it just shows how many people have viewed it. Whenever someone views your AIM Profile, the counter goes up.

What versions of AIM is the profile counter compatible with?

AIM Profile Counter is compatible with AIM 6.1 and up. It might also work with Gaim, or Trillian, but I havn't test it on those yet. If you have some other client in mind just give it a try!

Must I place a link to make counter work?

No, TrackMyProfile's AIM Profile Counter does not require any link. The counter goes up every semi-unique view (that means every view that appears like a genuine view and not one to just try incrementing the counter). The AIM profile counter does not require the user to click any link like the main TrackMyProfile.com and instead goes up on the actual profile view. Of course though counter only shows how many hits you've received, not whose viewed your profile, like the main TrackMyProfile Buddy Tracker does.
